"The idea was to look at me from a boyfriend's perspective," McDaniel said of her cover, which featured the caption, "heyyy ;)," according to the New York Daily News on Thursday.

At the end of last year, Pamela Anderson, a frequent feature in the magazine, posed for Playboy's final nude issue.

"I know I speak for all involved when I say that creating this new Playboy magazine has been a labor of love for those fortunate enough to work on it," Playboy Enterprises CEO Scott Flanders said in a statement. "We are exceptionally proud of the end result and are confident that everyone will enjoy reading it as much as we did creating it."

The March 2016 issue of the magazine will be officially revealed tomorrow during Playboy's Super Bowl party. Also included in the issue with McDaniel are Dree Hemingway, daughter of Mariel Hemingway, who appeared in Playboy in 1982, and Myla Dalbesio.
