The command center explosion will have very real repercussions for Alex Parrish and her FBI pals, and the ABC series won't be afraid to let its cast take some major hits in the midseason premiere.

Simon (Tate Ellington) and Alex (Priyanka Chopra) accidently caused the Bureau's emergency headquarters to become terrorist target No. 2 during "Inside," and when Quantico returns, both members of the FBI and the DNP will meet an untimely end.

"I can tell you that 32 people are not going to make it out of that building alive," showrunner Josh Safran told TV Line.

With everyone from Caleb (Graham Rogers) to his father on the chopping block, casualties won't be limited to the FBI's top brass. Luckily for viewers and actors alike, a character's death doesn't necessarily take them out of the story for good.

"People we care about are in jeopardy and they don't all survive," Safran old TV Guide. "The good thing about a show with dual timelines is you can still continue working with those characters should they die, like even Elias could come back to us at Quantico even though he's dead in the future."
