Teen Wolf's Jeff Davis wasn't expecting a sixth season, but now that he has it, the writer has planned out a "phenomenal" run.
The showrunner caught fans off guard when he announced a renewal at the 2015 San Diego Comic Con. At the time, Davis wasn't sure exactly what season 6 would hold for Beacon Hills. Now, however, Linden Ashby (Stilinski) has the scoop on Scott's next adventure.
"The story for season 6, as it's been explained to me, is phenomenal," Ashby told Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast. "It's great. I'm incredibly excited to film season 6."
Just as with season 4, the upcoming run will have the teens worried about more than just the creatures that go bump in the night.
"It's really dealing with scary, scary stuff, but not necessarily monster scary stuff," Ashby teased. "Very kind of adult themes are being explored in season 6. [It's] complex. And I'm just sitting here with a big grin on my face because it's just going to be f--king good."
The actor also spoke out about the season 20 finale on Twitter.
Just read the final draft of 520! It's SO GOOD! It didn't come easy, it didn't come fast, but what it is... is AMAZING! @MTVteenwolf
