The claws have officially come out and the fists have started flying on Party Down South, but even what fans saw on TV doesn't begin to tell the rest of the tale.  

The Tension Boils Over When Santana Arrives

After Santana came to the house to talk to Lyle, Tiffany and Lauren did not react well-and even called the guy Santana allegedly cheated with to get his side of the story. After his confirmation, they taunted Santana with the truth, until Lyle demanded to learn more from Brandon. However, the call to him was interrupted by Santana and Lauren getting into a no-holds barred fight.  

In a recap interview with She Knows, producer Sally Ann Salsano dished on the fight and everything that led up to it, including the fact that Tiffany and Lauren day-drinking before returning to the house and seeing Santana there, which didn't help things.

"Yeah, hell no," Salsano said. "Tiffany, God bless her, but she's intense when she's sober. To add day drinking to that emotional bonfire, we knew there would be no relaxing the entire time Santana was there-and we know Lauren wasn't going to be shy about sharing her opinion day, night, sober or drunk. So we were for sure ready."  

As for what to expect in the future? Unfortunately for Lyle, the fight won't put an end to the drama.  

"Let me put it this way," Salsano said. "It doesn't get any easier for Lyle anytime soon." 

Party Down South airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on CMT.
