If life on the Los Angeles block wasn't hard enough, Colony is about to get even darker.

'Colony' USA: Will We Ever See The Aliens? EP Talks Future Of The RAPs

Life under the Transitional Authority is no picnic. The totalitarian regime has its perks - no traffic, no unemployment, a low crime rate - but those payoffs come at a steep price. Families have been torn apart, the Factory is always one mistake away, the drones are everywhere, and food is scarce. All the while, human nature is begging to take over. Curiosity, resistance, and survival are at war inside every member of the block, and unfortunately for those in the flats, Proxy Snyder is ready to abandon his alleged Mr. Nice Guy approach.

"Proxy Snider has presented himself as trying to create an environment where they don't have to rule with an iron fist. People have what they need and are generally kept fed, are clothed and they have work...He's trying to run the block that way, but, as we see, and will continue to see, that is not working particularly effectively for him," executive producer Ryan Condal told Spinoff. "That means darker days are to come on the block."
