The aftermath of TV host Bill O'Reilly's divorce from ex-wife Maureen McPhilmy is reportedly turning into an all-out war, as he's apparently made it a priority to compromise her livelihood.

The Hollywood Gossip reported that the Fox News political talking head initially separated from his ex-wife at some point in 2010, and that O'Reilly and his now estranged wife started living in separate houses in May of that same year. The two residences were said to be less than a half a mile from each other in Long Island, NY.

Since the separation, O'Reilly has allegedly tried to ruin the career of the Nassau County Police detective his ex was dating at the time, and is now married to.

In 2011, the TV host reportedly used his connections with the Nassau County Police Department in order to launch an internal affairs investigation into McPhilmy's new husband.

Currently, O'Reilly also finds himself midst of a nasty custody dispute over the ex-couple's two children, even as he's trying to undermine his own custody agreement by hiring the woman that he and McPhilmy had mutually agreed upon to be a neutral arbiter of their future disputes.

At a hearing conducted in January, McPhilmy's attorney claimed that O'Reilly's attorney didn't deny that Lynne Kulakowski was accruing a six-figure salary from the political TV host. McPhilmy's attorney's argument called into question Kulakowski's appointment as a neutral arbiter of the former couple's disputes.

Initially, a lower court refused McPhilmy's hearing request in regards to O'Reilly's co-optation of the licensed social worker. However, the appellate court took the side of McPhilmy and sent the case back for another hearing.

To make matters worse, O'Reilly is even looking to annul his marriage and allegedly have McPhilmy kicked out of the Catholic Church.

Gawker had reported that the church had gotten wind of the matter and McPhilmy was actually reprimanded by the parish for continuing to participate at her Long Island church although she's been divorced and remarried, which is apparently considered a wrong by the Pope.
