On Sunday, the gymnast posted a new image on Instagram where she dons a pink and blue bikini that shows off her petite and slender figure. Taking the selfie with her phone, Maroney's hair is scrunched to the side as she looks like a swimsuit model.

With her ability to tumble and flip as a gymnast, it's no wonder that Maroney is looking so fit. But there's been speculation on what she plans to do with her athletic abilities based on a report from uInterview. As it turns out, she may be taking a break from gymnastics so she can focus on other parts of herself.
"The reason why I wanted to go to this next Olympics-I finally figured it out. I wanted to show people that when everyone else is up against them, they can get through the struggle and the pain and do it because they love something," she explained. "One day I was sitting outside and I was like, 'Why am I doing this?' Yeah, it's cool that I want to do it and help inspire people, but I didn't know how to be okay with not being a gymnast."
