She hooked up with him pretty quickly after they were reunited at their shared summer job, and she even spilled to him the truth behind what happened to blow up her relationship with Matty (Beau Mirschoff) for good, but Jenna (Ashley Rickards) will still find herself in a confusing situation as she grapples with how to handle Luke (Evan Williams) on Awkward.

After downplaying their relationship, Jenna will go to him to try and explain herself and make sure he understood why they couldn't really try being a couple, despite their history and obviously still boiling chemistry. But, in true Jenna fashion, she will have a hard time explaining it correctly as she approaches him at his desk.

"Hey, I'm sorry if what I said earlier with Lizzy sounded harsh," she explains in a preview clip for the Tuesday, March 29 episode. "What I meant to say was that I like you, and that's why we can't start dating."

"Come again?" Luke asks, confused.

"I just need to concentrate on work, and if we were making out, then I'm going to be concentrating on that and I really need to get published. And I can' have any drama," she says. "Plus I wouldn't want anyone to think I'm only here because of you."

"Jenna, it's cool. Like you said, it's no big deal," he assures her.

However, as she then walks away, Jenna contemplates the fact that he seemed totally cool with her basically blowing him off, and when it begins to bother her, she realizes that she actually does in fact want to be with Luke—which would be hard to do after she just turned him away.

"He had taken the news well. Really well. So, why did I wish that he hadn't?" She wonders in the clip. "Then I realized. I did like Luke. Like, liked, liked Luke. Like drama."

Awkward airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on MTV.

Jenna has kind of a big realization on this week's new Awkward. Tune in tomorrow at 10/9c for a front row seat!
