The Duggar family is holding on to one very small thread when it comes to their last fifteen minutes of fame, but is it going to break soon? That's what fans can't help but wonder as there's a new scathing report comparing the Duggars to the Zika virus, and advertisers are doing everything they can to keep their distance from the scandalized Arkansas-based clan.

According to Life & Style Weekly on Wednesday, experts say the Duggars are "like the Zika virus" to advertisers, as they are one by one pulling away from their TLC spin-off show, Jill and Jessa: Counting On. And because they are potentially losing millions of dollars in revenue for the network, many believe their spin-off show won't be renewed for another season.

"There is no way TLC can keep this on the air," David Johnson, CEO of Strategic Vision PR, tells the publication. "TLC may think the family is ratings gold, but to advertisers, they're more like the Zika virus!"

What's more, family insiders say parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar are worried about their financial situation if the spin-off show gets axed, as they have no other source of income for their family. They've struggled to win fan support and sympathy after it was revealed last summer that Josh Duggar sexually molested his sisters when he was a teen and more recently cheated on his wife Anna Duggar via an Ashley Madison account.

"They are absolutely doomed," says the insider, adding that they "built their empire on truth, faith and family, and all of that imploded with Josh's scandals."

So far the Duggars have not made any comments about the report. Stay tuned with Enstars for all the latest updates right here.
