While many fans of CBS' Two and a Half Men may be dumbfounded as to just how Alan (Jon Cryer) woes any women at all, he's still somehow been able to keep Lyndsey (Courtney Thorne-Smith) around as his other half, to say the least.

While the relationship itself has been on shaky grounds, Lyndsey has made it crystal clear that she'd like Alan to put a ring on it already.

However, America's favorite moocher is still seemingly fearful of tying the knot, due to his previous failed marriage with Judith (Marin Hinkle).

Since Alan's cold feet continue to stay fairly chilled and the two have been on-again off-again repeatedly, many are undoubtedly wondering what the future holds for them as a couple.

In a recent interview conducted with TV Guide, Thorne-Smith came clean that Lyndsey and Alan may indeed by splitting up permanently on the very next installment of the sitcom.

"They've broken up so many times, but this one feels more real. There's no one thing for her, it just isn't working."

When the TV actress was queried on what was next for her character post-Alan breakup, she did say that the production would like to keep her around in some type of role. However, she is still uncertain as to what that pertains to at this point in time.

Two and a Half Men will return to the air with an all-new episode, titled Bazinga! That's From A TV Show, on Thursday, April 4.
