Actors Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard announced the birth of their daughter, Lincoln Bell Shepherd, on Twitter on March 28.

Bell's fiancé Shepard tweeted, "Lincoln Bell Shepard is here. She has mom's beauty and dad's obsession with breasts. Hooray!!!"

According to Us Weekly, the couple has been engaged since 2009 and announced their pregnancy last November.

She has discussed her fear of giving birth and said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in January, "I feel like, when I arrive at the hospital, I want a glass of whiskey, I want the epidural in my back and I want to get hit in the face with a baseball bat and wake me up when it's over because I've seen the videos -- and it looks terrifying."

Shepard and Bell have been waiting to get married because they feel it is unfair that there is still marriage inequality. She said in an interview with The Advocate in February 2012, "...The reason we're not rushing to get married is because I don't feel appropriate taking advantage of a right that's denied to my best friends. That's why we've been so hesitant. Dax and I have talked about it a lot, and this issue is very important to both of us. We're just standing up for what we believe in. Period."
