They may not be in the spotlight as much as they were as kids, but the Olsen twins still have their occasional sightings.

On Tuesday, In Style posted a photo of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as they stepped out for coffee in New York. And conveniently enough, the girls looked nearly identical with their outfits.

They both wore navy coats with dark pants and sunglasses, and seemed to be in good spirits.

Mary-Kate and Ashley became iconic celebrities when they were children ever since their shared role as Michelle Tanner on Full House. This sparked up some curiosity if the twins would reprise their role in the Netflix series Fuller House, but that didn't happen.

John Stamos, who's known as Uncle Jesse on the show, opened up with Howard Stern on SiriusXM about the sisters not joining the show. Apparently, there were some complications at first.

"I think there was some confusion," Stamos said via E! News. "They said first I didn't ask them. And I didn't personally, but I was told they were asked. So I had a knee-jerk reaction and said, 'Bulls--t, I did ask them.' And they got upset, so I did call and talked to Mary-Kate and explained what the show is going to be and told them I'd love them to be on there and they decided not to, which I respect."

The actor added that the reason why the Olsen twins didn't join the revival is simply because they're just not part of that world anymore.

"They seemed very into it. They just were afraid of acting. They don't consider themselves actresses," Stamos said. "I said maybe you guys will be in New York and we'll do a phone call or something and they were like, 'Let us think about it,' and it just wasn't for them."
