If you're looking for NCIS to stage a Tony/Ziva reunion, you're out of luck.

Michael Weatherly's tenure as Tony DiNozzo will come to an end on May 17, but Tiva shippers won't have the chance for one last scene between the former coworkers. Cote de Pablo (Ziva) revealed the bad news while speaking at Babson College on Sunday.

That's not to say Ziva won't play into the storyline. The events of "Charade" caused tony to re-evaluate his life, and, when he does make a change, memories of his former partner will definitely occupy his thoughts.

"Tony's relationship with Ziva absolutely will have an impact on his reason to depart," showrunner Gary Glasberg told E! Online. "There's no part of Tony DiNozzo that Ziva David isn't a part of. She's a huge aspect of who his character is so it would be unfair and wrong to write this episode, to produce this episode and not have her character be a part of it."

Even without an emotionally charged Tiva reunion, "Family First" will cause many a fan to shed a tear. Weatherly's character has been on the scene since day one, after all. It will be hard for his surrogate family to say goodbye.

"People should absolutely be planning on some really serious, heart-wrenching moments. There'll be tissues involved," Glasberg teased, according to TV Line. "I'm very proud of the emotional resonance of what this is, even in terms of what we're filming right now in the finale."
