Corey Simms has returned to Twitter after weeks of silence.

As the seventh season of Teen Mom 2 continues, Simms shared a photo of himself with fans.

Also on Twitter this week, Simms' father, Jeff, explained why the twins, Ali and Aleeah, 6, weren't in Los Angeles for filming on the season seven reunion show.

In addition to Simms' failure to appear in L.A. for filming, Leah Messer's second husband, Jeremy Calvert, also stayed home.

“There was really no reason for Leah’s guys to go this time,” a source told The Ashley's Reality Roundup on Sunday. “Last time, Jeremy’s segments didn’t even air. It’s a huge effort to fly across country for them, since they are in West Virginia, arrange for child care, take off work, etc, just for a weekend of shooting. They don’t care about the free trip or anything at this point. They’d rather stay home.”

Last month, a source spoke to Radar Online, revealing Simms and his wife, Miranda, had been filming less during season seven after producers reportedly failed to air details of Messer's rumored drug problem.

“Corey feels MTV did him dirty,” a friend of Simms told the outlet. “He thinks they had the perfect opportunity to show viewers, ‘This is what happens when you get on drugs, this is the reality.’ Instead, they made it seem like Corey was constantly attacking Leah for no reason.”

“Corey told MTV just what he thought about the situation, and said that he and Miranda would not film nearly as much as in past seasons,” the friend explained. “Producers understood.”
