Beyonce Knowles Carter opened up more about her one-year-daughter Blue Ivy Carter by saying that the toddler loves to dance.

In the May 2013 issue of British Vogue, the Love on Top singer discussed her views on gender equality, marriage and why Blue Ivy enjoys music as much as her famous parents.

"Right now, she just likes tempo. She likes salsa-anything with a beat," Beyonce said. "Which makes sense because I was on tour when I was pregnant, and then I went on to her dad's tour and the 808 was probably shaking the womb."

As the singer prepares for her 42-city Mrs. Carter World Tour in a few weeks, Blue Ivy will be tagging along with her mother. Beyonce let the world know through her social media account that there is a special place for her daughter on the road.

On March 29 Beyonce, also known as "Baddie Bey," uploaded a picture on Instagram of two matching director's chairs. The bigger chair appeared to be the Run The World singer's and on it said, "The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour." The other smaller chair was custom-made for Blue Ivy and read "BIC."

In the March issue of Vogue Beyonce called Blue Ivy her "homey" and "best friend."

With her daughter in tow, Beyonce is still proving why girls still run the world. She explained to British Vogue that she considers herself a "modern-day feminist."

"But I guess I am a modern-day feminist. I do believe in equality. Why do you have to choose what type of woman you are?" she said.

Beyoncé has also taken on her husband Jay-Z's last name more publicly. She talked about her marriage life in her latest single, "Bow Down/I Been On," and also decided to name her world tour The Mrs. Carter Show.

"I feel like Mrs. Carter is who I am, but more bold and more fearless than I've ever been," she said to the magazine. "It comes from knowing my purpose and really meeting myself once I saw my child. I was like, 'OK, this is what you were born to do'. The purpose of my body became completely different."

Beyonce added that she is happily married and loves her husband very much.

The magazine hits newsstands on Monday.
