Regina (Lana Parrilla) is now totally overwhelmed with everything that's happening on ABC's Once Upon a Time.

*Spoilers for the latest episode of Once Upon a Time ahead*

Sunday night's episode of Once Upon a Time was a heartbreaker for many viewers, with Robin (Sean Maguire) sacrificing his life to protect Regina. Of course, this came in the same episode as Regina and Robin (a.k.a. Outlaw Queen) reaffirming their love for each other.

With Regina now left heartbroken and gutted, the upcoming season 5 finale will be about how she deals with such a major loss.

Parrilla spoke with ABC News about the big twist and what's ahead for the season finale.

"I don't think anyone demonstrated that much love for Regina before," Parrilla said, of Robin. "I think she's quite overwhelmed by all of this, but that was like a test of true love, really. I think she's devastated and we're going to see how she handles that loss in the finale."

Parrilla also suggested that Regina probably won't find love again for a long time, if ever.

"I think right now she's heartbroken and probably not ready to love anyone, aside from her family, at this point," she said.

Outside of Regina, the season 5 finale will have great impact for all the main characters, as Parrilla previewed.

"Emma [Jennifer Morrison] and Regina go on a journey, on a mission, to try to find Henry [Jared Gilmore], who has gone on this rogue mission with his girlfriend, Violet [Olivia Steele Falconer], and then we have Snow [Ginnifer Goodwin], Charming [Josh Dallas], Hook [Colin O'Donoghue] and Zelena [Sean Maguire] back in Storybrooke and they get sucked through this portal and into a new world," she teased.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
