Blindspot's Jane Doe is at a crossroads.

The FBI's tattooed enigma joined forces with Oscar (Francois Arnaud) at midseason, but their seemingly benign partnership took a dangerously dark turn when Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) became their first casualty. As the season finale begins, Jane (Jaimie Alexander) will have to choose whose side she's really on.

"It's sickening, because she's thinking, 'Why would I want to kill somebody?'" Alexander told Entertainment Weekly.

It's clear Oscar and his cohorts are willing to sacrifice anything to accomplish their mission - just look at how far pre-amnesia Jane went! - but post-tattoo Jane isn't in quite the same mindset.

"It turns Jane's entire world upside down, because up until this point, the tattoos seemed to be doing good things - the tattoos are stopping corruption, the tattoos are saving lives," series creator Martin Gero explained, according to Entertainment Weekly. "He promised no one would get hurt. Certainly, she was pretty pissed that they didn't tell her they wanted Mayfair out, but this is the first time she's come face-to-face with the brutality of that group, that they're willing to do anything."

Will Jane choose to continue aiding her alleged ally? With the season finale set to turn the entire story on its head, there's no telling where the major players will end up when "Why Await Life's End" comes to a close.

"Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) searches for the truth within a heartbreaking and confounding assertion. Jane reaches out to a former suspect (guest star Aimee Carrero) for help with Oscar," NBC teased. "Meanwhile, the rest of the team struggle to help a friend..."

Find out how the season ends when Blindspot airs Monday at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
