Blue Ivy Carter, the daughter of music power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z, made her public debut online on Friday, as fellow celebs and others in the media tweeted their congratulations.

Russell Simmons tweeted "congrats Jay and Bey...the pics of Blue Ivy are beautiful."

Two members of the Jersey Shore cast also remarked on the newborn.

"OMG blue ivy is gorgeous. Just like her mama!!" tweeted Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi. Castmate Jennifer 'Jwoww' Farley called Blue Ivy "beautiful."

CNN personality and former judge of America's Got Talent, Piers Morgan wrote:"Congrats to #Beyonce Jay-Z and Lbue Ivy - what a lovely family!" 

Beyonce and Jay-Z releseased pictures on a publicly available website yesterday. The images show Blue Ivy with her mother, father, alone and with a closeup of the baby's hand.

"We welcome you to share in our joy," the couple wrote in in a note signed "The Carter Family."
