Fans of the hit Dragon Ball Super anime have been abuzz during the previous month after series creator Akira Toriyama confirmed that Future Trunks would be reappearing in the anime and that the main enemy of the next arc would be a being known only as Black Goku. As much as the new arc is exciting, however, it seems like the new story is set to begin a bit sooner than expected.

Previous rumors have speculated that the official beginning of the upcoming Future Trunks arc was set to begin on June 12. Indeed, with the previous Universe 6 vs. Universe 7 Tournament arc being over, the beginning of the new arc of on June 12 did make sense.

However, a recent leak has shown the beginning of the new arc being set for the week before the June 12 instead. Thus, if the leak is to be believed, the Future Trunks saga would be starting this coming Sunday, June 6, instead.

According to the leaked information, the title of the upcoming episode would be "A New Chapter! The Black New Enemy!! - A new development begins! The boy returns to our time." If the title of the next episode is indeed any indication, it would seem like the upcoming Future Trunks is indeed set to begin this week.

What's particularly interesting is the fact that Future Trunks was initially confirmed to appear on Dragon Ball Super's June 12 episode. Thus, with this Sunday's title in mind, many fans are speculating that the episode would simply be a prologue to the actual Future Trunks arc, which would begin on June 12. Otherwise, the story of the anime would end up being expedited - something that Dragon Ball is yet to do.

Nevertheless, it does seem like the upcoming episode of the hit anime series would be a very important one indeed. Even if Future Trunks does end up appearing only during the final moments of the episode, fans are still hoping that this Sunday would be the day when the identity of the enigmatic Black Goku would finally be revealed.

Needless to say, tension among fans of Dragon Ball Super are currently running high.
