Kris Humphries may have been a no-show for a court appearance scheduled early Friday regarding his divorce settlement with reality TV star Kim Kardashian.

According to TMZ, Humphries was almost certain to miss the hearing, which was scheduled to start at 8.30 a.m. local time on Friday in Los Angeles.

Despite the scheduled hearing Humphries was seen at about 1 a.m. ET on Friday morning in New York City, according to TMZ.

The website points out that there were no scheduled flights available to get him to the hearing on time from New York after 1 a.m. ET, meaning he was almost certainly going to be a no show.

That means that Humphries could be in trouble with the court. He has been dragging out the divorce proceedings with Kardashian for a long time now, and this could be seen as another attempt to delay matters.

Even though Humphries wants delays, Kardashian wants to get the divorce finalized as soon as possible and move on with her new life with new beau, rapper Kanye West.

Humphries has allegedly demanded $7 million from Kardashian and wants the marriage to be annulled rather than it to be an official divorce.

The NBA star has claimed that the marriage was a fraud and that Kardashian only married him for publicity.

Kardashian meanwhile has repeatedly denied those claims and insists she married Humphries because she loved him at the time.

Kardashian is now pregnant with new boyfriend West and wanted to get the divorce before the baby’s birth in just a few months time. However, despite her desperation to get her divorce she has been unwilling to give in to Humphries demands.

Humphries has delayed things by insisting that he has responsibilities to his NBA career with the Brooklyn Nets meaning any proceedings before the end of the season would be hugely detrimental to his career. However, a judge has insisted that things must now move forward after repeated delays. Humphries' new absence from the court hearing will not go down well and appears to show he has no intention of getting things finalized any time soon.
