The birth of Margaret "Mila" Hager to Jenna Bush and Henry Hager on April 13 made former president George H.W. Bush a great-grandfather for the second time.

The baby arrived on Saturday night and weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces, USA Today reported.

"Both my girls are healthy and well," said Henry in an e-mail on Sunday, calling himself a "proud papa."

Former President George H.W. Bush now has two great-grandchildren, the first from his son Jeb Bush. Margaret grandparent's - George W. Bush and wife Laura - were ecstatic upon the baby's birth.

"Laura and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our grandchild, Margaret Laura 'Mila' Hager...," Bush announced in a statement released Sunday. "She was born last night, April 13 at 8:43 pm in New York City. We met our beautiful granddaughter today. Jenna and Mila are healthy. And our family is elated."

Jenna and Henry married in 2008 via a private ceremony at the Bush ranch near Crawford, Texas. They announced that they were expecting their first child in December on The Today Show.

"Our Today show family got just a little bit bigger," said Today's Natalie Morales at the time, referring to Jenna's job as a correspondent for the show.
