It looks like The Duggar family has once again done what they do best, and that's create controversy for the things they do, words they say and scriptures they post on social media. This time around the reality television family is being blasted for not showing much compassion to the almost 50 victims who died during the Orlando terror attack at Pulse nightclub on Saturday night.

Omar Mateen gun downed 49 victims and left over 50 more wounded in what's being called the bloodiest mass murder in U.S. history. Even though the rest of the celebrity world have shared their sadness and grief over the horrific events that have occurred, the Duggars have remained relatively silent with the exception of a bible verse they posted on Facebook.

The post read, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and we will draw near to you." The post didn't sit well with many of the Duggars' followers who say that their lack of compassion for the victims - who were mostly part of the LGBT community - is "sickening."

Some comments from critics include, "This choice of scripture smacks of self-righteous, sanctimonious, judgment. Have you no prayers or compassion for the victims of this horrific crime?" along with, "I'm sure they posted this in response to the shooting. They are disgusting."

Another critic wrote, "The litmus test here....is would the Duggars have released a statement by now if 50 people were murdered inside of a church, instead of a gay club. WE ALL KNOW that they would have. Their silence is intentional and their bigotry towards gays won't even allow them to offer condolences/prayers to the victims of the biggest mass shooting in U.S. history."
