The Flash's Jesse Quick will be back in action this fall.

Powers or no powers, Earth-1 or Earth-2, Jesse (Violett Beane) will find a place in The Flash's season 3 storyline. Zoom's (Teddy Sears) apparent demise cleared the way for the wannabe-meta to return to her home world in the season 2 finale, and there is a chance the upcoming Flashpoint storyline will be responsible for her return.

"With the whole Flashpoint, anything can happen, right? It's literally open to any different kind of false reality," Beane teased, according to TV Line. "She could be Earth-One Jesse, she could be a speedster.... Who knows!"

After all, we've yet to meet Earth-1 Jesse, someone who might have never been born if Reverse Flash succeeded in killing Barry's (Grant Gustin) mother. Now that the original Earth-1 Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and his significant other are presumably alive, a new version of Jesse could be in the cards.

However the potential speedster returns, Beane hopes the teen's comic book destiny is close at hand. Te actress' season 3 wish list consists of two things:

"Definitely powers. I defiantly want her to get her speed and be in a suit," Beane told Mingle Media TV Network at the Saturn Awards on Wednesday. "Besides that, there's a little spark between her and Wally and I think it could be interesting to see that."

Fans should heed one warning as The Flash inches closer to its fall premiere - whatever you thought you knew about Flashpoint, this October's "Flashpoint" episode will put the DC TV universe on the road to something very different.

"We're definitely doing this FP thing our own way," Gustin tweeted on Monday. "I've read Flashpoint, I've seen the amazing animated film. This will be its own thing."
