One of the most iconic country music stars is joining America's Got Talent as a guest judge.

On Friday, Taste of Country announced that Reba McEntire, who's known for songs like "Going Out Like That," "Forever Love" and "Is There Life Out There," is set to join the judges' table of the NBC competition in a future episode.

She will join the table with Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell. Other upcoming guest judges will include Louis Tomlinson, George Lopez and Ne-Yo.

Cowell previously dished to Us Weekly on what made him decide to join the series, something he had been considering before.

"I've been thinking about it for a while," Cowell said. "We did actually talk about me doing the show a few years ago, and at the time I couldn't do it. But having been on the British show ever since it started, every time I used to turn up and watch America's Got Talent, there was a part of me that always thought, 'You know what? It would be a really fun show to do.'"

When the offer came up, the man knew he couldn't turn it down as this was just the right choice for him to make.

"When it came up again this time, I thought it was just too good an opportunity to turn down," Cowell said. "And I want to experience what it's like judging American talent on this show, compared to just British talent."

America's Got Talent airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
