John Leguizamo finds it rather difficult to binge-watch Bloodline, even if the Netflix model encourages this style of viewing.

Even though Leguizamo starred in season 2 of Bloodline as Ozzy Delvecchio, he had a hard time trying to binge-watch the first season. The actor admitted this in a recent interview with Deadline:

"I found it hard to binge 'Bloodline' 'cause it's too intense. I could only do two episodes at a time and then I had to watch 'Silicon Valley' or something," he said.

To Leguizamo's credit, Bloodline isn't exactly an easy, breezy show to watch all in one day. Despite the sunny location of the Florida Keys, the series is one of the darkest on television for its familial strife, paranoia and frequent deaths.

"It's too intense and it starts to build up all this pressure. I mean, I was watching this incredible writing and the acting and I was like 'oh, wow, I got to come in and fill some shoes.'" Leguizamo admitted in the interview. "They told me that I was going to be very mercurial and unpredictable and I said, 'I can do that.' But I need other things to balance it."

The actor also discussed the beauty of Bloodline being in its ability to be completely character driven, even if the stars sometimes don't even know where things are heading for their characters.

"It's like jazz and I kind of know where my character's going and I kind of don't know. So sometimes that tension is that I kind of don't know what's going to happen," he said.

Leguizamo also compared the first episode of season 2 to another intense Netflix series.

"I loved the first episode. I thought was incredible. It blew my mind. So much tension," Leguizamo said. "It looked like real family dynamics, like family problems, but it felt like 'Making A Murderer', you know?"

Bloodline's first two seasons are available to stream now on Netflix.
