The Future Trunks saga in Dragon Ball Super is in full swing, with the plot of steadily unraveling with each new episode. With the mystery behind the enigmatic Black Goku ever pervading, it seems like the next few episodes of the anime would focus on unmasking the mysterious, evil character.

Recent leaks translated from Japanese TV guides have revealed the titles and summaries of Episodes 53 and 54. From the translations, Episode 53 should be titled Reveal Black's New Identity! Off to the Kaioshin Realm of Universe 10, and Episode 54 should be titled Inheritor of the Saiyan Blood: Trunks' Resolve.

While the main premise of Episode 53 has been known for a while now, its reference to Universe 10 is definitely something new. According to the brief summary of the episode, Beerus and Whis would travel to Universe 10 with Goku, after noticing that Black Goku's Ki is very similar to that of Zamasu, another Kai.

With this information in mind, it would seem like speculations about Black Goku being possessed by an evil Kai would be proven right after all. With Black Goku's Ki being similar to a Kai from Universe 10, it would definitely seem like the mysterious villain is but a vessel for the nefarious being.

Unfortunately for Beerus, Whis and Goku, Episode 54's summary states that the trio would not be able to find incriminating evidence that would concretely link Zamasu to Black Goku. What is particularly interesting about Episode 54, however, is the fact that Vegeta would start training Future Trunks.

With Future Trunks training under his father, the possibility of Trunks reaching Super Saiyan Blue becomes a very real possibility. After all, Vegeta has already mastered the form, and he has even gone through some training with Whis. Thus, it should be pretty safe to assume that Future Trunks, after his training with his father, would become a far stronger fighter than ever before.

From the current pace of the plot, it would seem like the Future Trunks arc would be a considerably longer than the previous arcs featured in Dragon Ball Super. Considering how compelling the story has been so far, however, this added length is very much welcome.
