Zooey Deschanel is making headlines after the actress was the subject of a mistake by a local Fox News affiliate where it wrongfully labeled her as the Boston bombing suspect.

Fox 4 Dallas-Fort Worth was covering the manhunt for Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in Watertown, MA., on Friday when the network wrongfully featured the caption "Marathon bombing, he is 19-year-old Zooey Deschanel."

Deschanel found about the caption and tweeted to her more than 4 million followers:

"Whoa! Epic closed captioning FAIL! Oh my..." she wrote alongside a picture of the Fox News coverage.

Her reaction was retweeted more than 11,000 times and other users on Twitter were quick to post reactions.

"Even though it was a typo, I'm still gonna keep a close eye on @zooeydeschanel," Twitter user @zachbraff wrote.

"I didn't know Zooey Deschanel was Chechen!" wrote another Twitter user @KennedyNation.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19 was captured on Friday night in the backyard of a Watertown residence where he was hiding inside a boat. His older brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26 was killed earlier on Friday during a shooting with police.

Dzhokhar is unable to talk after suffering a gunshot to the neck but is reportedly communicating with authorities in writing, according to CNN.

Authorities are standing by eager to question the suspect and find more information about the bombing, according to Boston Public radio on Monday.
