The veterans and new girls are slated to battle on the fifth season of Basketball Wives LA.

The network released a special teaser just days before its long awaited premiere airs Sunday July 17.

Roman admits she would like the ladies to get along with one another.

“But, you know, we don’t always get what we want,” she said.

As for one of the newbies, New Orleans native Angel Love, she makes it clear she was not ready for the level of drama she experienced.
“Watch, look, and learn,” she advises viewers. “I definitely didn’t come into this thinking it would be easy. But I didn’t think it would be as hard as it is.”

She is dating DuJuan Blair of the Washington Wizards.

Her fellow newcomer, DJ Duffy, adds, “This season of ‘Basketball Wives’ is going to be epic. Why? Because I’m on there.”

Duffy, who hails from Dallas, TX, prides herself on being one of the most sought after female DJs in hip hop. She is also engaged to a sports agent.

But Roman doesn’t seem impressed. She describes this season as “petty, childish” and “a hot mess.”

Christie also points out that the new girls could never have prepared for the amount of drama they are set to face.

Duffy said, “Everybody thinks you’re out to get them. Everyone is on edge. No one trusts anyone…”

Angel is a fan of Roman but admits, “I’m definitely not worried about any cast member on the show.”

Duffy is Team Jackie and points out that they are both “crazy.”
