Singer and WeTV’s Braxton Family Values star Toni Braxton has given a shocking update on her son, Diesel’s health status, as well as opened up about rumors that she is dating rapping CEO Birdman.

Braxton has been vocal about her son’s life with Autism in the past. But now she has said that he no longer has the condition.

“My youngest son Diesel suffers from Autism…or I should say suffered,” Braxton told Access Hollywood Live’s hosts Kit Hoover and Nina Parker. “I’m one of the lucky parents. Early diagnosis changes everything... My son Diesel is off the spectrum being [Autistic].”

Braxton said she has gotten him in multiple programs thanks to the late founder of Autism Speaks, Susan McBride.

“Our lives have changed…No signs of Autism. He’s a social butterfly. He’s the one who plays with friends and hangs out all the time… Very, very fortunate.”

As for Braxton, she has suffered from her own condition of Lupus herself. She said her upcoming tour will be “challenging” but is excited about the “adrenaline” and interacting with her fans.
She also opened up about her life with Birdman.

“He’s a sweetheart. We’ve been friends since 2001…When I had my baby shower, him and his 20 guys came…My mom wants us to [date]… We’re just besties…”

Braxton did say she is “thinking about having love” in her life.

She has been rumored to be dating Birdman for quite a few months now. They seemed to confirm rumors when they went to the BET Awards together back in June. See her full interview below.
