She has been warning she wouldn't put up with the constant issues stemming from her mother-in-law's antics, and now, after learning about Quinn's (Rena Sofer) affair with Eric (John McCook), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may be ready to end things with Wyatt (Darin Brooks) on The Bold and the Beautiful.

After she confronted Eric and lashed out at Wyatt, she sought Liam (Scott Clifton) out for comfort, and he used the moment to try and convince her it was finally time to end her marriage and go back to being with him. She seemed resistant because she wanted to remain committed to her vows, but now, Liam's demands, and claims he is concerned about her safety when Quinn is her mother-in-law, may have finally gotten through to her, and she will return to Wyatt, potentially ready to see if he really will be able to make his mother disappear from their lives for good.

And, much to her surprise, Wyatt will defend his mother, saying that her affair with Eric had nothing to do with Steffy, information he learned from Eric himself, and as Steffy tries to make her own point, she will warn Wyatt that she doesn't believe Quinn really wants what's best for her son, and is only thinking of herself, whereas she wants to do what's best for him.

"She doesn't have your best interests at heart. I do!" She says in a preview clip for the Monday, August 8 episode. "I do!"

However, Wyatt will continue to try and defend Quinn in an effort to make a case for his getting to keep both his mother and his wife in his life, but his efforts may fall on deaf ears, as Steffy will refuse to hear anything that forces her to still keep dealing with Quinn. And then, after that realization hits her, she will possibly decide to tell Wyatt she's through with trying any longer.

"I'm done," she says. "I can't do this anymore."

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
