His family warned him to stay away from Quinn (Rena Sofer) but a defiant Eric (John McCook) will not only go against everyone's wishes, but he will shock them with his latest decision regarding the relationship as well on The Bold and the Beautiful.

After leaving a meeting where Ridge (Tjhorsten Kaye), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Rick (Jacob Young) and Pam (Alley Mills) all tried encouraging him to end the relationship and stay away froM Quinn for good, Eric then came back and announced that he wanted the company to reinvigorate the jewelry line again and said he had hired someone to take on the venture-and presented Quinn to the room.

Now, the protests against the decision will be loud, as Steffy in partiuclar begs her grandfather not to let her mother-in-law be welcome in the workplace.

"You're asking too much of all of us," she says in a preview clip for the Monday, August 15 episode. "Don't do this."

However, Eric will insist that as CEO, it is his decision, and he won't hear another word about it. This will cause Pam to then bring up the subject of the two dating again, as she reminds Eric that this relationship is one that Stephanie would never have condoned, and warns him that being with a woman who is known for her psychotic exploits and hurting others to get what she wants insults the memory of his late wife.

"Involving yourself with Quinn Fuller would totally disrespect her memory," Pam says in the clip.

Eric will not be swayed however, and everyone will be forced to accept what he has decided. However, his decisions to both stay with Quinn, and to rehire her back at the company won't be forgotten, and now, he may have to watch his back as everyone possibly starts plotting around him to not only break the two up, but remove him from the powerful seat he just took back at the company.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
