His family has expressed numerous concerns about his trying to have a relationship with a woman they all believe is dangerous and has an agenda, but after a fight with them all, Eric (John McCook) will make a shocking decision about his relationship with Quinn (Rena Sofer) that none of them will expect on The Bold and the Beautiful.

After leaving the office out of anger over the objections that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Thomas (Pierson Fode), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Rick (Jacob Young) and Pam (Alley Mills) all raised, Eric sought Quinn out despite ending things with her back in Monte Carlo. Now, after seeing her, kissing her, and basically deciding to rekindle their romance, he will further surprise Quinn when he tells her he is thinking bigger than they did before when it came to their relationship.

"We should talk about the future," he says to her in a preview clip for the Friday, August 12 episode. "They fired me up about it."

Whatever he decides with Quinn will certainly cause more objections from his family, who all believe Quinn is taking advantage of Eric's loneliness, unaware that Eric seems to be making the decisions, and they will continue expressing concern that Quinn is using him for some unseen end goal that they can't figure out.

"He's still alone, he's still a target. If Quinn comes back, she's going to take advantage of him," Ridge says in the clip.

One person who could be hurt in horrible ways by the decision Eric makes about the future is Wyatt (Darin Brooks), who thinks that his pleas they end the relationship for the sake of his marriage to Steffy were successful, and he will even be making a case to Steffy and Liam (Scott Clifton) about them no longer worrying about it any longer when the news of what has really happened potentially drops.

"He broke it off with her. They're done," he says in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
