Khloe Kardashian has opened up about one aspect of her life viewers have not seen on television: her battle with skin cancer.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star took to her app to discuss what many fans never knew about her health struggle.

“There was one mole I had on my back that was skin cancer,” she revealed on her blog Khloe With A K earlier this week. “I had eight inches of skin removed. It was definitely painful because it was a lot of skin, but most of the time, the removals haven’t been that bad.”
But that’s not all.

The reality television star and fashionista continued and got candid about a spot she discovered under one of her breasts. It was so large it changed their appearance. It turned out to be “benign.”

Now, Kardashian is adamant about using six products to protect her skin including an anti-aging clay mask, herbal gel cleanser, and a resurfacing serum that she uses at night.

It appears Kardashian is taking her health much more seriously. Fans might remember an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in which her mother Kris Jenner urged her to go see a physician to find out if she carried the breast cancer gene.

“You don’t care if you could possibly get breast cancer?” Jenner asked.

Kardashian responded, “We’re all going to die. I don’t care.”

Cancer has hit the famous family hard as the late patriarch Robert Kardashian, Sr. died in 2003; just two months after receiving his diagnosis for throat cancer.
