Jersey Shore actor Ronnie Ortiz- Magro was hospitalized with kidney stones over the weekend.

"Ronnie was admitted to an Orlando area hospital late Saturday night," said a rep in a statement, according to People magazine. "He's in a lot of pain and is expected to remain there for several days."

He tweeted late Sunday night:

Ortiz- Magro’s longtime girlfriend and co-star Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, 26, went to be with her boyfriend while he recovers.

The actor was in Orlando at the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America convention promoting his new alcohol line, Smush Cocktails on Saturday, stated People.

According to his rep, "he started feeling uncomfortable" and was rushed to the emergency room. "It's a very painful condition," the rep added, "but he's being treated." The actor posted on Twitter:

"Worst feeling," he added in response to a friend's post. "So uncomfortable."

When one follower suggested he take some protein, Ortiz-Magro tweeted back, "I have to because I can't hold any food down from the pain."

Another tweet of sympathy read:
