We may not yet know for sure if Nick Jonas is literally telling us how much he loves bacon with his song "Bacon," but we don't really care after watching him perform it at the VMAs with Ty Dolla $ign.

Jonas took the stage (well, actually to the kitchen of the Tick Tock Diner around the corner from Madison Square Garden) during the live telecast of the show to sing the song, which seems to indicate that he either really likes bacon (as the music video would suggest), and that he likes that it doesn't give him drama in his life, like women tend to (as per the lyrics). But regardless of the song's meaning, Jonas brought his A-game when he took to the stage for his performance.

Jonas started his performance in the diner's kitchen and then walked threoughout the restaurant (where his brother Joe and the rest of DNCE made a cameo) as he sang, and well...it appears the song may really be about Bacon.

The performance then took to the streets of New York for Ty Dolla $ign's verse of the song, before returning to Jonas on an outdoor stage.

Jonas, who got his start in the boy band The Jonas Brothers with his older brothers Kevin and Joe has made a name for himself as a solo artist in recent years. He broke out on his own with his hit songs "Jealous" and "Chains" in 2014. His third solo album, Last Year Was Complicated, was released this past June.
