A number of Katie Maloney's Vanderpump Rules co-stars played a role in her recent wedding to Tom Schwartz, but unfortunately, fans have been critical of one particular addition, Brittany Cartwright.

According to a recent tweet, one fan felt that Cartwright, the girlfriend of Jax Taylor, shouldn't be in the wedding because they've only known one another for "a minute."

After Cartwright took to Twitter, where she revealed a photo of herself and Maloney and shared a heartfelt message to her friend, she was faced with unkind words.

In her Instagram post to Maloney, Cartwright wrote, "The most beautiful bride @musickillskate I'm so sooo happy and honored to be a part of this beautiful day! Everything was so amazing, I love Katie & Tom so much! Congrats guys and I'm so happy to have you both as friends!"

In response to the fan's message, Maloney fired back with a tweet of her own, confirming she and Cartwright have been friends much longer than the woman had assumed.

Maloney and her co-stars will return to Bravo in Vanderpump Rules season five later this year.
