Ending on quite an impressive high note, Fox's The Following wrapped up its debut season with a cliffhanger and several deaths. While no one knows for sure what lies ahead for its second season, the suspense has already started to come up.

On April 29, Valorie Curry, who plays the part of Emma, spoke to Hollywood Life about her hopes for her character's development moving forward into the next season.

"My hope is for her she finds some sort of strength of her own, rather then be defined by the people she surrounds herself with or her purpose and mission. I hope she finds her own. [Her happiness] is always the face of Joe Carroll, you know! A white picket fence and babies with Joe Carroll, she could care less about the killing people, she wants a dog a couple kids and watch Game of Thrones at night. That is her happiness!"

If Joe (Kevin Bacon) is indeed gone, Emma's emotions over his death may serve to drive her even further over the edge, which could very well make it easier for her to become a serial-killer, according to the site.

The second season of The Following will reportedly be bringing on a fair share of new characters. Be sure to check back for more of the latest details as they continue to unfold.
