The news wasn't taken well when they shared their plans to marry with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and now, both Eric (John McCook) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) will continue finding resistance to their relationship at every turn on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Eric will head back to the office at Forrester to confront his family, who have all likely heard the news by now thanks to Steffy, but Quinn will stay behind at the mansion to let Wyatt (Darin Brooks) know about the new status her relationship has, and predictably, things won't go well on her end as Wyatt strongly objects to the plan.

"Mrs. Eric Forrester," she says to him in a preview clip for the Wednesday, September 14 episode.

"Oh, don't say that!" He interrupts.

"Why? Why can't you be happy for me?" She demands.

Wyatt will then remind her that every move she has made with Eric has negatively impacted his marriage to Steffy, and when she agreed to move in with him, Steffy moved out. Now that Quinn wants to marry Eric, Wyatt fears it will mean the true absolution of his marriage, and that Steffy will present him with divorce papers. And to make sure his mother knows who he will blame when that happens, he will remind her that she brought this on to him.

"If my marriage ends, it's on you," he says in the clip.

Meanwhile, Eric will be faced with an intervention, as his family is convinced he is suffering from some snap in judgment brought on by his older age, and that Quinn is taking advantage in order to propel herself to the top. However, once again, their efforts to get through to him will backfire, as he haughtily replies that he is going to marry Quinn, and since he is once again the CEO of Forrester, Quinn will occupy the highest title a woman in the family can have.

"I'm going to marry Quinn. And she's going to be the next Forrester Matriarch," he says in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
