Which of The Real Housewives of New York City stars will be returning for the upcoming ninth season of the show?

As the cast wraps up season eight, rumors are swirling in regard to who is staying and who is getting the boot and the latest report claims fans may soon see at least one new face.

“They are going to start casting for replacement housewives soon," a source told Radar Online on Friday. “They aren’t renewing [Jules Wainstein's] contract."

As for Wainstein's close friend, Dorinda Medley, who brought her to the show last year, the source claimed her role is currently up in the air." However, producers are said to be "leaning towards not renewing her contract."

“She is friends with Jules and they’re allies and she is leaving, so that’s a problem,” the insider explained, also adding that LuAnn de Lesseps may be in jeopardy.

According to the report, de Lesseps is hesitant to film her upcoming wedding to fiancé Tom D’Agostino, who was involved during a season eight cheating scandal, and producers aren't happy.

“If that becomes a bigger issue it’s going to jeopardize her role,” said the insider. “The wedding is a big part of her storyline and not filming it for the show would make her irrelevant going forward.”

As for the rest of the cast, added the insider, “Everyone is likely safe.”
