Two Big Brother 18 houseguests competed in Part 2 of the final HOH competition Friday night - here's who won.

Friday was mostly a quiet day in the Big Brother house, with James, Nicole and Paul generally talking about the season's showmances, missing their regular lives and other non-game-related things. Of course, we still had the dynamic of a houseguest getting called to the Diary Room followed by the other two houseguests speaking about their Final 2 deal, but talk was pretty light overall.

The houseguests were wondering all day about when Part 2 might take place. Paul continuously gave James the wrong spelling of houseguests' names in an attempt to trip him up in Part 2. As such, it has become clear that Paul wants to bring Nicole to the Final 2 with him. What Nicole wants to do remains a mystery.

Part 2 of the final HOH competition began about an hour before midnight, with James and Nicole competing against each other. It was a time-based competition as usual, and when the feeds came back after several hours of being blacked out, it was clear who had won. Nicole won Part 2, beating James by a whopping 19 minutes. James, having lost both Part 1 and Part 2, is ineligible to compete in Part 3 and has no shot of becoming the final HOH of the summer.

After James went to the Diary Room, Paul and Nicole had a huge celebratory moment where they excitedly talked about being the Final 2. They talked about jury votes, admitting that they only really know Corey and Victor's votes. Everyone else is up in the air.

Later, James tried to talk with Nicole about what she was planning to do but she was much more guarded, keeping the conversation light and not committing to anything.

By the sound of it, Paul and Nicole will likely be taking each other to the end, but it's much more difficult to tell if Nicole is truly interested in bringing Paul over James. There are still a few days left to go before the finale, and anything could happen.
