Chatter over the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey continues to surface on a daily basis, and Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke has surfaced again as a potential suitor for the saucy role of Anastasia Steele.

Although former Gilmore Girls standout Alexis Bledel has been the majority favorite by Internet users to land the part of the shy, college graduate turned Red Room of Pain participant, it appears as though Clarke has emerged as the frontrunner in the last few months. With her youthful appearance, large eyes, light features and superb body, she would certainly be a great fit for the Steele character.

In the past Clarke, 25, has expressed that she's not too fond of doing nude work. However, she might be more than willing to do it if it makes sense for her character, which is what would undoubtedly be required to play the risqué part of Steele.

Since the her Game of Thrones' series is no stranger to exploiting sexuality, the role of wouldn't be anything foreign to the actress. Being that Clarke is mostly known for her TV work, a groundbreaking role such as Fifty Shades could indeed broaden her horizons in the film industry.
