Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province East of China on Sept 7, Wednesday, has already captured images of this asteroid and was named Asteroid 2009ES by Minor Planet Center. Asteroids orbiting in our solar system with significant distance to earth may always catch the attention of observatories around the world. Images will somehow predict the trajectory of this space bodies.

On The Daily Galaxy, the captured image of one of the 1,640 minor bodies was from their 1.2-meter Schmit telescope, with its one-of-a-kind specs in all Asia, its reliability, therefore, places no doubt. Asteroid 2009ES is just one body of a thousand more, and its strength has long been believed to have extinct the dinosaurs. A small part as described by astronomers to be the same 10,000-meter asteroid that can destroy mankind with a blast of 3Billion Atomic bombs.

Minor Planet Center tasked the laboratory on Sept 5 when the asteroid has first caught their attention. In a recent article from Yibada, Zhao Haibin who is one of the observatory's staff pointed out that the activity of these asteroids are affected by the gravitational pull of Mars and that may complicate the trajectory of these asteroids. Rest assured that there are eight more observatories who have also captured the images which will help track its trajectory.

Now that it is being observed already, astronomers had already closely guarded its activity especially when it passed a distance 18.8 times as far as the moon is from the earth. That is a distance way to close considering other asteroids that have passed on our course. But mankind need not worry as studies confirm that it would take four months for 2009ES to travel from its orbit to the Sun and go back to the Solar System, where it can go to where the solar flares lead it to or by any gravitational pull, but one is not certain until after four months.

If it is then near or can be hindered by other forces, will it reach to earth just to cancel the US elections? Many have asked that, but no amount of readiness will save mankind if this kind of disaster befalls. So the question remains to be if it is near-earth or near-the-end of the earth?
