Dragon Ball Super is easily right in the middle of its best arc to date, with the Future Trunks saga well on its way towards its explosive climax. With Episode 60, Return to the Future: Revealing Goku Black's True Form, set to air this Sunday, numerous mysteries about the nefarious character are set to finally be debunked.

It should be noted that in the previous Dragon Ball Super episode, present-day Zamasu was quickly and unceremoniously destroyed by Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction. With his defeat, both Beerus and Whis believe that the future must have already fixed itself.

However, the preview of the upcoming episode quickly proved this notion wrong, with Black Goku and Zamasu being shown alive and well in the ravaged future. With this, a rematch between the villains and the heroes is set to begin.

If there's anything that can be determined from the title of Episode 60, it is the fact that the identity of Black Goku would finally be revealed. However, numerous fans are speculating that the episode might not really show anything concrete about the character just yet.

When the Future Trunks arc was simply starting, another supposedly Black Goku-themed episode was aired. However, during that episode, almost no references to Black Goku were given. Instead, Dragon Ball Super simply featured Zamasu, who eventually became one of the biggest villains in the current arc.

Thus, there is a pretty good chance that the episode this week would once more show very little direct information about Black Goku, and instead simply drop clues as to his real identity. This particular notion has been very popular with fans, with many pointing out a Japanese television guide seemingly referring to Black Goku's true shape being unmasked in next week's installment, Episode 61.

With this, Episode 60 might very well be disappointing for fans, at least for those who are looking to find concrete information about Black Goku. Then again, Dragon Ball Super Episode 60 seems to be full of action. Thus, it is very hard not to be impressed just the same.
