Two episodes have aired, but Secrets and Lies is only proving to weave a continually complicated web when it comes to finding out who murdered Kate Warner (Jordana Brewster).

After several people seemed to express some clear motives for why they could be potential suspects in the case, everything seemed to change in the latest episode, where more about Eric's (Michael Ealy) past was revealed, as well as some of the other stuff no one knew about Kate. In addition, it came out that Neil (Eric Winter) also has some dark secret he's hiding from everyone, and a mysterious man (Kenny Johnson) started appearing everywhere, and may have some dark agenda of his own.

So who seems to be the most likely suspect this week? Check out our list below:

Eric:

Though he still seems to be innocent, it's hard not to knock Eric off the suspect list until some genuine evidence that can exonerate him turns up. And with his comments to Cornell which seem to indicate that there's more to his story than he's let on. Maybe he wasn't really a bad guy when he accidentally killed Steven Porter as a kid, and he genuinely didn't know a lot about Kate, but he also knew someone was blackmailing him, and didn't bring it to anyone's attention, and there's definitely something he's concerned about when it comes to his ex-girlfriend talking to Cornell.

Neil:

Though he supposedly had an alibi that he was smoking a joint with Kate's assistant Liam when she had her tragic fall, we're not ready to take him off the suspect list just yet. He's hiding something big that he can't admit to his best friend, and there can't be a coincidence that he was assaulted by the mystery man and then Liam's apartment happened to also be tossed by the man.

Mystery Man

We don't know much about Kenny Johnson's character yet, but there's definitely something dark and sinister about him. It'd be hard not to immediately assume he's a suspect, especially since he's already exhibiting violence.

Melanie

Could she really be so air-headed as to wonder why her brother-in-law doesn't want to gossip about his recently deceased wife? Her carelessness, and the fact that she also doesn't share everything with her own husband, makes her seem more suspicious.
