'Revenge' Season 2 Spoilers, Finale: Emily's Life is in Danger as She Reveals a Secret? [VIDEO PROMO]
The two-hour season finale of Revenge airs on May 12 and a promotional video for the upcoming episode shows Jack putting his own life in danger and Emily Thorne revealing a dark secret about her past.
Emily makes "the confession you'd never thought you'd hear" just as she tries to save Jack's life.
In the May 5 episode, viewers saw Aidan Mathias kill Takeda and in a sneak peek clip of the finale, Emily and Nolan Ross find Takeda dead for the first time. Nolan at first thinks the killer may be someone from The Initiative and Emily notices that the killer took the other weapon,
"Whoever did this moved his body," Emily then says.
When Nolan asks why someone would do that, Emily says it was done out of "respect."
"It was a fair fight," she adds. "They were evenly matched."
The pair then find photos Takeda kept hidden, one in particular of a young woman (who closely resembles The Falc0n). Emily has no suspicions at the time that Aidan is the killer, she instead worries that Aidan could be the next target. Nolan, on the other hand, is worried about Emily being a target.
Revenge Executive Producer Mike Kelley recently said one character will be killed off before the season ends, though Takeda might not be the only one.
ABC released an official synopsis for the back-to-back episodes recently and it said that viewers will see "high octane and life changing moments" taking place for residents of the Hamptons. In the first hour - titled Truth, Part One - "a series of dangerous events has been set into motion" and they all add up to "one catastrophic moment that will change everyone's life forever."
The network said the following about the second hour:
"[In] Truth, Part Two (10:00-11:00 p.m.), the devastation leads to a heartbreaking death that will send shockwaves down the shoreline and force Emily to take a hard look at the truth and the path of revenge she has embarked on."
The finale for Revenge season 2 airs on Sunday, May 12, starting at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
