In the Syfy series "Van Helsing" Season 1 Episode 4, Vanessa (Kelly Overton) can be seen leaving the Seattle hospital with Mohamad (Trezzo Mahoro) to look for her daughter. However, things go bad as Julius' (Aleks Paunovic) people captured her while Mohamad then lead the refugees to the hospital.

In the official synopsis for Episode 5, Vanessa is now trapped in Julius' territory. In order to survive, she is now forced to unleash her true powers and fight someone from her past. It was revealed that Vanessa successfully escapes Julius' hands jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

In a promo video for Episode 5, Vanessa is forcing Julius to taste her blood. It was also revealed that Julius needs Vanessa in order to kill Dimitri (Paul Johansson) so that he can become the leader of the vampires.

Meanwhile, panic strikes as the people inside the hospital realize that they are not safe. According to International Business Times, the death of Doc (Rukiya Bernard) which was believed to be suicide was now rules as murder. The people realize that a serial killer is inside the hospital walls with them as another dead body was found.

The refugees now plot against Axel (Johnathan Scarfe) so that they can gain control of the building. By the end of the situation, the group decided to banish Mohaman from the hospital.

"Van Helsing" is the newest series from Syfy. It follows the journey of Vanessa Van Helsing who is a descendant of a line of vampire hunters. Vanessa fights the vampires who rose after a volcanic eruption. Vanessa awakens from a three-year coma only to discover that she is immune to the vampires' venom and that she has the ability to turn them human again.

"Van Helsing" Season 1 Episode 5 will air on Oct. 14 on Syfy.
