A brand new Dexter Season 8 spoiler video has officially been released. The footage shows a grinning Dexter (Michael C. Hall), as he pridefully creates a wall full with paintings of his past table victims.

Dex can be seen framing the artwork into portraits and hung onto a wall, then begging the following question:

"How do you want to be remembered? We all leave behind a legacy. A monument to make our mark. But I've never stopped to consider what it is I've created. Will they call it monstrous or a masterpiece?"

Many fans are surely wondering what will happen to Dexter himself at the end of the upcoming season, which will bring the show to a close. Hall had addressed that very scenario to Salon on Dec. 9, 2012.

"I imagine Dexter is going to get caught one way or another ... As far as whether he goes to jail, or gets put to death, or gets hit by a bus or whatever it might be, I can't say."

Dread Central reported that Season 8 will kick off six months following LaGuerta's (Lauren Velez) death, with Dexter still attempting to balance his unraveling life as a dad and vigilante murderer. Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) will also be struggling to cope with her past actions while a mystery woman comes to work at Miami Metro and gives up information about Dex's past.

Showtime's' Dexter is set to make its return on Sunday, June 30 at 9/8c. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on America's favorite serial killer.
