Angelina Jolie recently answered questions from the FBI for four hours about Brad Pitt.

Shortly after the news of Pitt and Jolie's divorce was revealed to the world, there were reports of Pitt allegedly drinking and getting physical with their kids on their private plane. The FBI seems to be taking the allegations seriously and has since interviewed Jolie extensively.

"The agents wanted a breakdown of everything that happened from when the plane took off to when it landed," an insider told Us Weekly recently. "They're looking into charges of assault."

Jolie "fully cooperated" with the FBI during this time period, according to a different source

The publication is also reporting that the Department of Children and Family Services is conducting its own investigation into the plane incident. With this investigation still underway, the DCFS reportedly ruled that the temporary custody plan that was supposed to end on Oct. 20 has been extended.

This plan includes Jolie having physical custody of their six kids, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, with Pitt having supervised visits and being subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

Meanwhile, both Pitt and Jolie are apparently uninterested in taking this divorce battle to court.

"Neither side wants this to go to court because everything the FBI and DCFS investigated will potentially be made available to the public, which would be bad for the entire family," a source said.

The FBI "will likely investigate for another few weeks," the source said, as they continue to interview other possible witnesses. When the investigation has finished, "they will present the case to the prosecutor, who will evaluate whether they feel the need to bring charges against Brad. It could potentially be months."
