The case of Kate Warner's death is getting complicated as the truth is nearing, with close relatives already a suspect considering their questionable attitudes and personal secrets linked to the victim. As Eric Warner goes deeper to the situation and many details from Kate Warner has already been revealed, he has already built a foundation of doubt on who his wife really is. In Episode 5, the personal problems of Danny and his identity were revealed, unfortunately, Eric seemed to be in a tangled state on who he should really trust.

Eric Warner suddenly had a surprise visitor unintended for him, but for Kate; with suspicions at hand, Eric quickly responded to the questionable retreat of Mark Peterson when he found out that Kate was dead. In a rundown of events by International Business Times, Mark Peterson will be another person of interest with his motives and connections to Kate. With Detective Cornell in action, she was already questioning the waitress working on the night before her death, as Kate was seen apparently arguing with another woman, a CCTV footage will answer who she is and what was her role in Kate's death.

Good thing, though, the woman was identified to be Belinda Peterson, the wife of Mark Peterson of whom Kate Warner gave her son for adoption. Although Belinda was seen to be arguing with Kate that fateful night, she insisted on her innocence by claiming a security feed to see here whereabouts on within Kate's office. Belinda may be unfortunate on this event as the security feed was deleted, but she knows who may have done it; instead she remembers a blonde lady leaving the security room just as Belinda was leaving the party.

Now that the pieces of the puzzle are starting to fit into each other's sides, Eric Warner quickly connects the lady to be Melanie, the wife of his brother, Patrick. TVLine has also reported that Belinda Peterson suspects Melanie to have messed up with the security footage, with footage of her wobbling out of the security office. But the question is why would Eric Warner's sister-in-law do that? Her questionable attitude towards Kate and Eric's distaste on Melanie's "loudmouth" will have a big impact on him and his brother's relationship with each other.

Is Melanie able to kill Kate Warner because of some secrets and lies she discovered involving the former and Neil? Why did Kate Warner hide a lot of information from Eric, like her mother and her son? The biggest question is a bank account Eric Warner found out to be illegally opened by Patrick; will this mean a brother-sister-in-law tandem against him and his wife?
