'Clash of Clans' December Update: Major changes are expected to compete with 'Pokemon Go'

The game developer unlocked the new game updates last Nov. 15 that lasted for 30 minutes. There are brief maintenance breaks which reveal that a major game update for December is impending. There is also a rumor that Red Barbarian King and Red Archer Queen will be added.

Supercell may introduce sea-themed creatures such as submarines, pirates, and mermaids. The sea-based "Clash of Clans" update may also introduce new vessels and water-based buildings. These could also be sea-based war infrastructure and ships. Also, new spells may also be introduced, according to GameNGuide.
